Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing a card with you that I CASED from Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team member Allison Okamitsu. To see more of Allison's amazing
work, please click here to view her website.
In the world of stamping and papercrafts, "CASE" means to Copy And Share Everything, or Copy And Selectively Edit. Inspired by the age old adage that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, to CASE is not to steal someone's designs, but rather, to be inspired by it. It is actually encouraged in the world of stamping. I am a fan follower of Allison's work and I absolutely loved the card she created below (left). I was so inspired to CASE her work and make it my own (below right). You can see the common similarities in the layout and style, but I have altered the colors, the sentiment and added a touch of ribbon to make it my own.
