This past weekend, nearly 50 ladies spent the most fantastic 3-day weekend at the "Blissful Crafting Retreat" at Lakeside Christian Camp in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. An entire 72 hours dedicated to nothing but crafting - be it scrapbooking or rubberstamping. No cooking, cleaning, laundry or any other "wifely" type obligations. A weekend to ourselves, as women, where we could focus solely on our passion and hobbies and spend a little quality time with friends and/or family. Super mega yayness! A weekend spent in pajamas and having all our meals cooked for us. If there is a heaven on Earth, we sure found it last weekend!

I thought I packed relatively "light."
Turns out, if a luggage rack on the TOP of your SUV is needed, then you haven't packed as "lightly" as you think!
My roommate, Ginny Maxam, from Maxam Made and I had a cozy little room together:
I'm sure she'd appreciate me telling the entire internet that she is a wonderful roomie. Sweet, quiet, kind, quick to shower, a non-snorer, you know, all those good things that make for a great roommate. But, boy can she stay up late!! I think her earliest night was 2 AM!
Would you believe we woke up to snow?!
And not just a "dusting" - it was a solid ground cover!! Maybe 2 inches. . .
Our group's crafting "loft." They stuck us "troublemakers" in the rafters! (There's a good inside joke there.)
Clearly, this photo was taken "before" the craftpocalypse began!
