Hello readers and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Thanks for stopping by and visiting today! If this is your first time here, welcome! Today I am sharing a card that I designed for a male colleague's retirement. It uses the beautiful Share What You Love DSP for the background (my favorite paper in this new catalog!) and the Rooted in Nature bundle.
Keep reading for all the details, supply list and step-by-step instructions!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. First I matted a piece of Share What You Love DSP to a piece Old Olive cardstock. I ran a piece of Pool Party cardstock through my Big Shot using the Woodland Textures Embossing Folder and then die cut a circle using the Gina Marie Stitched Circle dies. Before I adhered this die cut circle to the card, I put down a strip of Silver Glimmer paper and notched the left end. I then tied Linen Thread around the card and adhered it to the white cardstock base. I trimmed off the right side of the die cut circle and adhered it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. On a separate sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the tall tree in Old Olive ink and die cut it using the coordinating die. I adhered it to the center of the circle using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Lastly I heat embossed the sentiment in White Stampin' Emboss powder on Basic Black cardstock popping the sentiment up using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
