Hello friends and happy Friday! If you recall from last month's budget, I spent a good portion on Lawn Fawn products. With every class I take from Jenn Shurkus my stash is growing, but, I find myself never having the time it takes to sit down and color in these adorable images and create interactive scenes. I've got the fun new Reveal Wheel, the Pivot Pop-Up, the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up, the Bayou Backdrop and so many more. Sure, I've got ALL THE THINGS and they are beautifully displayed
in my craft room, but they are not getting used often enough! There is simply never enough time, right?!
So, I recently spent a couple evenings stamping and die cutting hundreds of these Lawn Fawn images (yes, hundreds). I placed all of the die cut images into individual zip-lock bags and stored them directly with the coordinating stamp set. That way, when I am ready to make a card, all I will have to do is color the images and create! I'm hoping that by having a majority of the "hard work" already done it will entice me to make more cards using my much loved Lawn Fawn products.

The base of this A2 sized card is made from Whisper White cardstock. On a sheet of 5 1/4" x 4" watercolor paper, I sponged three different color Distress Oxide inks in Broken China, Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers. I tore two pieces of Crumb Cake cardstock for the sand and sponged over that cardstock in a Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink color. Using the Fintastic Friends stamp set from Lawn Fawn, I stamped many of the images in Tuxedo Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock and colored them in with Spectrum Noir alcohol ink markers. After all these images were die cut I adhered them to the Distress Oxide sponged background with Snail Permanent Adhesive.
Next I created a shaker frame out of Pacific Point cardstock and using the Gina Marie Stitched Scalloped dies. I placed a tablespoon of Lawn Fawn Mermaid sequins on the card before I layered the acetate window sheet lined shaker frame on top. Lastly I stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point ink on Whisper White cardstock and adhered this to the center of the card.
