Hello readers and happy Friday! TGIF! I am so excited it's the weekend because for the first time in a little while I have zero on my calendar. No planned events or obligations and I look forward to just chillaxing! I'm hoping to do a lot of alcohol ink coloring while catching up on the all the newest Hallmark Christmas movies! Will you be watching them too?!
Today I am sharing a card with you that we'll be creating at my Make It Merry holiday cardmaking extravaganza on Saturday, November 17th. Not signed up yet? Send me an email or text today and RSVP! Can't make it to this class? No worries, there are plenty more scheduled events HERE.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Neenah Solar White smooth cardstock. I die cut a frame from Basic Black cardstock using the Scalloped Stitched Nesting Rectangle dies and the Stitched Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs. On a 5 1/4" x 4" sheet of watercolor cardstock, I use 5 markers in a rainbow pattern to ink up a Christmas tree stamp. I gently spritzed the entire stamp with a mist of water and stamped the image on the watercolor paper. I repeated this process three times. I added a coat of Clear Wink of Stella when the ink dried to add sparkle to the trees. Using the Simon Says Stamp Believe dies, I cut the sentiment first out of Basic Black cardstock paper (thicker piece) and silver foil paper for the thinner text. I adhered the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for added height. Lastly I added a couple randomly placed rhinestone basic jewels.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you all have a great weekend!
