Who Are the Blogging Friends?
Almost three years ago, I organized a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop.
Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created for you!
In case you’ve never ‘done’ a blog hop before, it’s really easy. At the bottom of this post, you’ll see a "next" image and when you click on it, you’ll be taken directly to the next participant in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you’ll hop through all of the participating blogs, back to where you started – and you’ll see all of the amazing projects created for your inspiration.
I promise, you won't want to miss a stop! We try and wow you each month with our creativity!
The theme: "Recycling"
The theme of our hop this month is "recycling." There could be a variety of ways in which one interprets this month's theme.
I actually "recycle" cards a lot in that I cut them up (sorry!) and make new cards, or, I will simply put a new sentiment inside the original card and re-send it! Please don't be offended - it's like the gift that keeps on giving! I loved your beautiful card so much, I want someone else to enjoy it too!
The three cards you see in the photo above are cards that were sent to me from fellow cardmaking friends.
In the photos below, you will see how I took various components of the original cards to create all new cards. See if you can recognize which components I recycled!
If you do not already own un-du get yourself a bottle. STAT. This stuff is amazing and it's my secret to taking cards apart without harming any of the original cardstock or embellishments!
Un-du®, the original adhesive, sticker, tape and label remover is also known as Scrapper's Solution, un-du® has been touted "Favorite New Product" by dozens of industries authorities. Un-du® removes all self sticking stickers, tapes and labels on contact without leaving behind any residue, greasy or gooey mess. un-du® will completely evaporate without leaving behind a stain. un-du® is safe to use on most all surfaces. No more knives, scissors, fingernails or any sharp instrument to help take those pesky adhesives off. un-du® is a favorite for scrapbookers and stampers because it will not harm photos and is acid free and safe to use on all archival papers and card stock.
The recycled results:
Thanks for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed my "recycled" projects today!
