Could you execute a new makeup idea everyday for 31 days straight?

Hi there stampers! Let's talk about an AMAZING new stamp set in the holiday catalog. A stamp set that you may not even realize yet just how much you want it. It has quickly become one of my favorite sets. It's called "Holiday Home."
OOOhhh! AAAaaahhhh! I like it Crystal, tell me more!
Even better than telling you, I'm going to show you!
After all the rain we've had here in Massachusetts this past week, we could all use a sunshiny hello.
Are you ready for W-A-Y out of the box?
TGITH! Thank God It's Thursday! Does anyone actually say that? I mean, we are almost to Friday, so Thursday has to be the second most exciting day of the week as the anticipation beings to mount for the weekend!?
It's just me then. . .
Well, anyway. . .
I'm continuing on with my "pink" themed cards this week in honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Today's card (albeit way late) is for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge:
A cascading arrangement of pinks in various hues, patterns and embossed designs will really highlight this sentiment.
I would like to thank the Design Team at the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge for selecting my card for Honorable Mention in their "Silent Night" category last week.
If you missed the original post, click here to view.
Here is the card:
A B-I-G Super Stamp Girl thanks!
Hello and Happy Tuesday! Before we get to today's card for the Paper Craft Crew, I'd like to take a minute and share with you that in honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, all cards posted this week will be "pink" themed.
Bcause 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
Because about 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer.
because a woman’s risk of breast cancer approximately doubles if she has a first-degree relative (mother, sister, daughter) who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
This week's posts are in support and honor of my grandmother, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law.
Here is the sketch from the Paper Craft Crew challenge:
There is nothing like sparkly boxing gloves to show your support to the cause "Fight Like a Girl."
Thanks for visiting and be sure to tell those women in your life that you love and support them. We are all in the fight together.
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary. . .
It may be Monday, my friends, but today's card is FABulous. Fab Friday fabulous! Here is their color challenge:
It totally screams "Halloween," right?
So. . .
I made a Valentine's Day card!
Because nothing says "I love you" like a skull. . .
Thanks for visiting and have a S-U-P-E-R day!
"I don't know how you do it" must be one of the most common phrases I hear on a regular basis. Sure, my moniker might be "Super Stamp Girl", but I assure you, I am anything but. How do I find the time to work full-time in a crazy, world traveling job, work part-time with Stampin' Up! and hold one to two classes per week, volunteer at the local animal shelter, plus clean my house, bake, do laundry, etc. and all those other household duties, not to mention sleep. "When do you sleep?" I hear second most often.
I'm going to let you in on a few little secrets!
#1 - I have NO kids. Kids=less time, less money and more mess. It's that simple.
#2 - I Live and Die by a Calendar
Or, in my case, THREE calendars actually. Two in paper format and one on my cell phone. I make sure they are all in sync daily. If it is not on my calendar, it is not happening!
#3 -Organization and Planning
To go along with my calendar, I write everything down again and when it's due. When I have free time, I work on a challenge card or two first, and then tackle my "to-do" lists. **Note, they are not always this fun. Most notes say, "Home Depot, dry cleaning, chimney guy, script refill, call Grammie, etc."
#4 - Weekends are for F-U-N!
Along time ago, Mr. SSG and I realized that since we spend all day working, we had to do all the errands on our weekends. We were thinking about this all wrong! Weekends are for F-U-N! So, now housecleaning and laundry is done during the week after work. Yes, it makes for a VERY long day, but it's less to do on the weekend. Except for cooking. Cooking in large doses (lasagnas, casseroles, crockpot dishes) are done every other Sunday, therefore they feed us for the week (and the next, when they are frozen)! During the week we simply re-heat nice home cooked meals. However, when I do "cheat" these are my secrets:
#5 - LOVE
Love in two forms. Loving Mr. Super Stamp Girl, because ssseriously, I couldn't do half of what I do without him. Everyone knows just how amazing he is. Having someone help you is the key. He'll do laundry while I clean the house. Or, he'll scoop litter while I run out for groceries. The second love is loving what I do. I love my work. I love Stampin' Up! I love my house, my friends and my family. My life is full of love.
So, those are some of my secrets! I don't proclaim to know it all, but I do know what works for me!
Happy Friday, my friends! It's the best day of the week!
I have really been enjoying participating in the Christmas card challenges with Merry Monday. At first, I was quite skeptical thinking, "how many possibilities can one come up with for Christmas themes?" But, as it turns out, the options are endless! Last week the theme was "neon" or bright colors, and this week it's "Silent Night."
Aside from the Memory Box tree die, all other items are Stampin' Up!:

Yay for Stamp Camps! Attendance and interest have both been up in the past few weeks, so thank you! I love that YOU love my events!
Don't miss the next Stamp Camp on Tuesday, October 21, from 6:30-8:30 PM. Here is a sneak peek at 3 out of the 6 projects we'll be making.
Don't delay, sign up TODAY!
OMG! Oh. My. Gosh. There are some days when I am literally blown away by all the coolness that is Stampin' Up! There are some days when I don't think they can come out with anything better. There are some days when I'm ready to quit my full-time day job and do nothing but stamp all day long. Then the mortgage comes due and I remember that stamping doesn't pay the bills. . .
Oh, if only. . .
Because seriously, everytime a new catalog comes out, I want and I need! I wish I could do a class everyday and share with you the most awesomely cool, crafty things you can do and make. But, there's just never enough time in a day. So for now, here's a few extra videos of cool products that I hope you will WANT and NEED too!
One of the latest and greatest products from Stampin' Up! is the GIFT BOX PUNCH BOARD in the Holiday Catalog. You can make a bunch of different sized little boxes, and other 3-D projects too!
Sneak Peek at Many Merry Stars
I would like to thank the amazing Brian King for making me think twice about this new kit called "Many Merry Stars" (and also give him a big shout out for the great photo). Really, I would have overlooked it entirely if it weren't for my following his blog.
For just $25.95, this kit includes the materials to make 26 (TWENTY-SIX) stars in six sizes. Again, that pictures represents JUST 9 of the 26 STARS. The scored edges to these stars are lined with adhesive side-strips, so you just have to lay out all the pieces and assemble.
The centerpiece of this kit is a kraft-colored star with a 15″ diameter. This kit is worth every penny. As with all other items in the Holiday Supplement, the kit is being offered on a “while supplies last” basis. When Stampin’ Up! released the Keepsake Christmas Ornament kits last year, they sold out quickly.
You won’t want to miss out – so be ready to place your order on Monday, October 20.
Each month Stampin' Up! is unveiling a new photopolymer stamp set. Here is the beautiful new set for October:
Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed a nice, long holiday weekend as I did. Ahhhh, if only every weekend were a 3-day weekend. . .
October is the month when we celebrate ghosts, goblins and witches - Halloween. This month, we at Try Stampin' On Tuesday are having some fun and we want YOU to have some fun too. This week, we have a word scramble for you all to participate in. Simply unscramble these two words below - PLUS those on the other design team blogs and your name will be entered into a drawing. Further details can be found here. Have a spooky, good time and join us for the F-U-N!
My two scramble words are:
Now, on to today's card for my Design Team entry at Try Stampin' On Tuesday. First, the sketch:
And, my card:
I have found, in the Holiday Stampin' Up! catalog, that I easily have two stand-out favorites. This new Wondrous Wreath stamp set being one of them. The other, "Holiday Home" you will see later on this week.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
Yippee! Woo hoo! Cheers to a holiday Monday! Gotta love these 3-day weekends! I've spent a good amount of time in my craft room over the past few days and it was just heavenly. It's truly my happy, happy place.
Today's card is for the "in the woods" theme with Stampin' Up Only Challenges and The Paper Player's color challenge:
I will say that while I love these three colors together and that they do make for beautiful fall inspiration, the card I designed was WAY out of comfort zone. First, it's kind of collage-y and that's not really my style, and second, it's about camping and that is most definitely not my style! You're going to laugh at this, but many years ago, on what I deemed as my last camping trip, I quite literally burned the tent we owned, so I would never have to go camping again! True story. My motto soon after eventually became "why go Coleman, when I can go Hilton!"
But, I'm actually quite pleased with how this card turned out! A beautiful fall camping scene.
I even added a little gold Smooch to the trees to give them a shiny, glittery effect as though the sunlight were reflecting off of them.
Here's the list of products used to make this card:
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
Do you need a quick and easy candy gift for all of your trick-or-treaters, students, clients or Girl Scout troops?
Let me suggest these washi tape decorated brown paper bags perfect for snack sized bags of candy.
These kraft paper bags are only 2x3"! Small, but perfect if you're making 50 of them for your little Halloween ghosts and goblins. Yup, kids on Knollwood Drive get fun Super Stamp Girl made treats! Add some washi tape to the top and bottom, a pair of googly eyes and a "boo to you" stamp and you're good to go.
Hello and Happy Saturday, my friends! I hope you are enjoying the start of a long, holiday weekend. It's raining here this morning, so it's a perfect day to be in my stamp studio happily crafting away!
Today's card is for the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge:
As well as the Pals Paper Arts color challenge:
I am so excited to be using a very new stamp set from the A Muse Studio company. My dear friend Donna is a consultant for the company and she just dropped of a bag of new goodies at my house a few days ago! This stamp set in particular was on sale during their Stamp-a-palooza for only $5.00! A total bargain.
Aside from the stamp set, all other items are from Stampin' Up!
div style="margin: 20px 0px;">
Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R Saturday!
Yay for Friday and a double-card post day!
Today's second card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. They also hinted at an optional theme of breast cancer awareness.
Breast cancer is very near and dear to my heart. My mother-in-law is a 5 year survivor. My sister-in-law and grandmother were both diagnosed within the last 6 months. The statistics show 1 in 7 women will bravely battle this disease in their lifetime. I am living proof that those odds are sadly true.
Today's card was made in multiples and will be sent to each and every woman I know who knows the face of breast cancer a little too well.
Hello and Happy Friday to you! Yay! It's Friday AND a 3-day weekend (if you're lucky like me!) Woo Hoo!
Well, since it's Friday, why not celebrate it with a neon card! That's right, the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge wants us to use neon colors for it's challenge theme this week.
You all know my stance on neon (or bright) colors, right?
They are best left for deer hunters, construction workers and marathon running shoes.
Sure, my personality is bright and cheerful, but my choice of card makings colors is less so.
As it turns out, I don't think my mixture of Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz is all that scary for brights! As a matter of fact, I actually REALLY like this card! Huh, who knew? A leopard can change its spots.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R long weekend!
