Who are the "Blogging Friends?"
Almost three years ago, I organized a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of paper-crafting we have created a fun blog hop.
Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created for you!
In case you’ve never ‘done’ a blog hop before, it’s really easy. At the bottom of this post, you’ll see a "next" image and when you click on it, you’ll be taken directly to the next participant in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you’ll hop through all of the participating blogs, back to where you started – and you’ll see all of the amazing projects created for your inspiration.
I promise, you won't want to miss a stop! We try and wow you each month with our creativity!
The theme of our blog hop this month is to CASE a fellow blog hop member's work. CASE is a widely used term in the paper crafting industry and has a few definitions associated with it, such as Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit. Essentially it is imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, on paper! You might be inspired by the colors, the layout, or the theme of a card or project you have seen in a magazine, on Pinterest or while attending a class, but then you change things up to make it your own.
For today's blog hop I was inspired by the card seen below created by fellow blog hop member Rick Adkins. I was inspired by the bright yellow colors and the big, bold flowers he used in creating his beautiful card. It made me think of spring and I'm SO ready for it!
I substituted hot air balloons and dragonflies in lieu of the flowers Rick used in his original design, but you'll see I kept the same monochromatic yellow color scheme and a similar layout. Thanks for inspiring me, Rick!
Thanks for visiting, I hope you have enjoyed my projects today!
