Today I am taking a break from the sea of Valentine's Day cards I've been sharing lately and looking ahead to St. Patrick's Day. Confession: I'm not Irish. I don't even claim to be on the one day any ol' fair skinned, blue eyed blonde could probably get away with it! And, truth be told, I'm still debating if I really need to send out St. Patrick's Day cards. Does anyone really expect a St. Patty's card? Probably not. I think I'm safe.
But, I made a couple. . . just in case I find out one of my stampers is a die hard leprechaun loving, Claddagh wearing, Gaelic speaking, Guinness drinking Irishman/woman.
Don't have St. Patrick's themed stamps? No problem! I simply copy and pasted this beautiful Irish blessing into a Microsoft Word document and then printed it on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.
I purchased this 12" x 12" paper stack called "Emerald" by Authentique and it has the most gorgeous patterns perfect for St. Patrick's Day cards or scrapbooks:
The only St. Patrick's themed stamp set I own is called "Lucky Charm" from A Muse Studio. I used it for the inside of this card (above).
I'm excited to be leaving this morning for our annual craft retreat to Cape Cod,
and I will be taking the next week off from blogging to fully enjoy it.
But, you can always follow along on my Instagram and Instastories
as I'll be sharing lots of photos and videos during our stay!
