Hello readers and TGIF! I hope you have fun things planned for the weekend ahead! It is supposed to be crazy hot here in Massachusetts for the next four days and I'm a total weather wimp. I am such a fair weather person, so I'll be in my nice and cool craft room for the majority of the weekend. I've got a to-do list a mile long and I plan on getting a good head start.
But first, I'm starting the weekend off right this afternoon and evening with two Lawn Fawn classes with Jenn Shurkus and a few of my stamping friends at The Inspiration Station in Connecticut! Be sure to follow along here on my Instastories for all the fun!
Starting Saturday morning one of the things on my mile long list is to finish my 4th of July cards.
Errrr, should I say start them! They're going to be 9th of July cards this year. . . Yay! Fireworks!
The two cards I'm sharing with you today are the first I designed using a beautiful stamp gifted to me last weekend
by my friend Mari. Thanks again, Mari!! The stamp is called "America the Beautiful" by Stampabilties and unfortunately it's long retired, so you won't find it in stores, which kind of stinks because it is a perfect stamp to celebrate Independence Day.
Here is the challenge banner from Freshly Made Sketches that inspired today's cards:
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
