Stamp Collecting Forums

Hi Stamp Collectors! Stamp collecting is a hobby that is often done alone but you can up the enjoyment factor and learn by chatting with others. So let's talk about:

Stamp Collecting Forums

stampcollectors.us

It's small, but it's charming and while the volume of posts isn't massive there is regular activity to hold your interest. While US focused, it does have a worldwide stamps section. Although, understandably, it does have many posts. Perhaps you can start making it more active?

Stepping up the busyness factor a bit is the stamps section on collector's forum. There are more conversations, but the disadvantage here is that it's not as nicely divided out into sections. That probably doesn't matter if you're planning on asking some questions but if your goal is to read up on particular topics it can be time consuming.

Rocking the old phpbb look, which makes it a bit dated and is a bit distracted, is stamp boards. Ignoring the look this is a fantastic resource with quite a lot of activity. Stamp boards has activity and the posts are separated out into nice sections. It just hurts my eyes a bit reading the section list, but it's not bad if you bookmark the ones you're interested in.

Stamp Community

Let's go back to a bit easier on the eyes with Stamp Community. Calling itself the "Stamp Community Family" is a bit cliche, but the tagline of "Education is the key to collector success" is something I can definitely get behind. It is US focused but has a worldwide section.

The Stamp Forum

I don't go here much for probably a strange reason - I don't like the font they use! It's a bit quiet, but it does really break things down by country which could make this your thing.
