Hello friends and happy Tuesday! I only have two days of work this week and then it's VACATION!!
YAY! I cannot wait!
Today I am sharing another card using the Painted Harvest stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Occasions Catalog. I know you've already seen it before here, but I just love sunflowers. They are such a happy flower!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Crumb Cake cardstock. Using these Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs, I cut the first matted layer from So Saffron cardstock. On a sheet of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sunflowers first using Daffodil Delight ink and then using Cajun Craze ink. The centers of the sunflowers and the leaves were then stamped in Crumb Cake ink. I used this Stitched Rectangle Nesting die from Gina Marie Designs to cut the Whisper White cardstock before adhering it to the card base.
Next I cut a piece of 3" x 1" bronze glimmer cardstock and notched the left side. I balled up some Daffodil Delight baker's twine (retired) and adhered it on top of the bronze glimmer paper. Lastly using Cajun Craze ink, I stamped the sentiment on a piece of So Saffron cardstock and cut it out using a retired die. I adhered this sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
