It's WOYWW! Yes, that's right, another Super Stamp Girl edition of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! To learn more about WOYWW, click here to see what it's all about. But, in a nutshell, the lovely Julia Dunnitt, brings crafters from around the world together for one day to stop, take a breath, grab a cup of chai and snoop around each other's work spaces! Real fun, if you're a nosy Nellie. . .
So, what's on MY desk, you ask? Strips of lime green Frogtape. Frogtape? Huh? What's that? Well, it's painter's tape - only for some odd reason this specific brand was called Frogtape. You know, the kind of tape you would uses to block off your heating registers or crown molding, so that you don't get any fresh paint on them? I went out into the garage last night to see what I could find, and, lo and behold, Frogtape it was. Not sure how, or when, or heck even WHY someone (who is probably now a gazillionaire) called it Frogtape - other than it's tape and it's green, perhaps? Seems logical enough to me.
Anyhoo, I have to teach a class this evening on the "painter's tape" technique. So, this is the result of my first attempt. I was quite pleased and actually really liked the overall outcome of the technique itself. But, there's still more experimentation to do some other time and day.
If you're a fellow WOYWWer, thanks for stopping by! I'm so glad that Julia can bring us all together in this great big world.
With many, many blessings and hopeful thoughts and prayers for those in the Philippines, and hugs to all!
