Hello friends and happy Friday to you! TGIF! I'm excited to share with you that for my very first time ever, I am playing along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. It's always fun to try a new challenge out and some of fellow Blogging Friends Blog Hop members, Deb Smart and Libby Fens are on the Design Team, so maybe I'll surprise them both when they see my name and card on the list!
Maybe they'll even vote for me (wink, wink). . .
The challenge theme is "fall simply stamping." As per their guidelines, "simple stamping" is defined as a return to the basics, either one single stamped layer or a base with one single layer. You can use masking, heat embossing, stencilling or sponging. You cannot use an embossing folder or embellishments or additional layers (not even a tag). Imagine a cardmaking world with no bling, no sequins, no embellishments, no layers, no washi tape and no embossing folders? That would be like a world without Krispy Kreme.
It would be a sad, sad sugarless world, my friends.
But, with a little creative ingenuity, lots of Twizzlers and some careful coloring, I managed to create a one layered simple, but very colorful, fall inspired card. I think it could use a few gold sequins, but, I'll be a good girl and follow the directions. For once.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
