Hello and Happy Saturday to you! I hope you are enjoying the start of another wonderful weekend! Then again, I firmly believe any weekend is a wonderful one!
Today's card really has a little story behind it. It all began with this sketch challenge presented by Mojo Monday:
This was the start of, oh, let's just call it Card #1 (for the fun of It). It was going to be two doors flanking some great quote (in the circle) about "when one door closes another one opens" and yada, yada, yada.. Brilliant, right?
The world may never know. Into the scraps pile went this card.
Let's try this again. . .
Let's call this Card #2 (again, you know, for the "fun" of it!) This was going to be two honeycombs with a large beehive as the focal centerpiece. . . BEEautiful, right?
The keyword in that sentence was "was." Card #2, much like Card #1, never came to fruition. Have you ever had one of those days? We all have, right? Well, yesterday was MY day. I put away all my supplies, ate some dinner (because tacos and an Arnold Palmer always help cure cardblock) and then started all over again from start.
Card #3 (below) came together far more easily, and, I think is a "sweet" success!
But, now you know there isn't always a method behind the madness! We all get stuck at times, so It's true, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Or, there are just a few other options:
I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R sweet Saturday!
