Hello friends and happy Thursday to you! I really hope you enjoyed yesterday's fall themed card made using this gorgeous new Seasonal Lantern stamp set and framelit dies. Last week I featured a lot of new products and videos from the soon-to-be released 2017 Holiday Occasions Catalog and all this week I'll be sharing cards I have made using many of these new products.
Today I am sharing this elegant Christmas card made using the Seasonal Lantern bundle and a new Designer Series Paper called Merry Music. Not gonna lie here, I think this card totally R-O-C-K-S (pun fully intended)!
But, no really, I mean it. I am loving how this card turned out!
Vellum, sparkle and a little red bow, what's not to love!?
The base of this A2 sized card is Basic Black cardstock. I cut a piece of the new Merry Music DSP (available September 1) to 4 3/4" x 3 3/8" and matted it onto a sheet of Real Red cardstock measuring 5" x 3 3/4". Using the Stitched Circle Dies by Gina Marie Designs, I cut a 3" circle out of decorative vellum paper (retired) and adhered it to the center of the card.
I cut the Seasonal Lantern out of Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to the center of the vellum circle using Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the little bow in Real Red ink on Whisper White cardstock and die cut it out and adhered it to the center of the lantern. The glittery vines are made from Silver Glimmer paper and an unknown green glimmer paper. I cut out the candle on Whisper White cardstock and lightly sponged the "flame" of the candle with a Daffodil Delight marker. I stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink, notched both ends and centered it over the lantern with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
