Today I'm sharing with you my Design Team card for the Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge. There is an additional "St. Patrick's Day" theme this week, but remember, our themes are completely optional. I don't know how many St. Patty's Day cards you've made this year, but, I've made exactly 6 more than I intend on sending (which is a big fat zero). I don't know why I insist on making cards that I have no intention of sending. . . I guess sometimes I feel like I HAVE to and that I need to show you, the reader, how versatile stamps and punches can be. You might visit Super Stamp Girl looking for inspiration and I'm always happy to offer that, even when I don't particularly like the color green.
What are your thoughts on blue St. Patrick's Day cards?
What I DO like about this card is that I normally would not have paired this trio of colors together - Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Soft Sky. But, after finding this beautiful piece of DSP in my scraps bin, I love this combination. I find, more often than not, that when I step outside of my comfort zone, it's usually worth my while.
