I'm starting to really like a "monochromatic" card. There is something appealing to the eyes about similar colors not having to compete for attention. The Paper Players chose this theme for their challenge this week:
And yes, because I actually liked the colors in the challenge banner so much, I decided to incorporate those colors into my card. Island Indigo, Lost Lagoon and Bashful Blue make for serene looking party lights!
Of course, once you make it in one color you like, you think, "hey, why not make it in every color!?" Hmmm, it's kind of like the entire shoe buying process, if the shoe fits, buy it in every color!
So, I tried Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Wisteria Wonder:
And Strawberry Slush and Blushing Bride:
I'm rather partial to the original card I made, then again I like blues. I imagine if purple is YOUR favorite color, you might like that card the best. Funny how that works.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day!
