Waaaaaahhhhhhh! That's me crying because I don't own one single cherry blossom stamp. The Paper Players challenge this week requests a "clean and simple" spring card and their inspiration photo is taunting me with those beautiful cherry blossoms! Unfortunately, I've also made a pact with myself to stop some "unnecessary" spending, so, I won't be purchasing new stamps anytime soon. Waaaahhhhhh! First on the list when I begin shopping again will be a beautiful cherry blossom set. Do you have any recommendations?
How I made the leap from cherry blossoms to gold crosses, I'm not entirely sure. I am not a religious person, but, there's something about Christmas and Easter that tend to bring out my inner soul.
I liked the style and simplicity of the initial card so much, that I decided to make another one that was a little less religious in nature. I think both cards turned out
very simple and rather elegant.
