Hello and happy Sunday, readers! I hope you are enjoying a great weekend. Today is my grand debut with The Paper Players Design Team! I have been asked to join the team as a Guest Designer through June 2017 and I couldn't be more excited and honored to join such a talented group of artists.
For the first challenge of 2017, our theme is "Recycled." Now, I don't know about you, but I recycle. A lot. All those store bought Christmas cards I received this year? Already cut up or punched out and will be recycled into Christmas tags for next year's presents. Don't worry, your handmade cards are safe with me. However. . . I do frequently remove the card insert and replace them with a new one and "pay it foward."
It's the card that keeps on giving! : )
But, today I'm showing another way to recycle your cards, or pieces thereof. The card on the left (below) is the first card I made using a new stamp set in the 2017 Occasions catalog called "Carousel Birthday." I didn't particularly like how it came out at all,
so I thought this challenge would be an excellent way to recycle the card
into something I liked more (below right).
And, I'm SO glad that I did, because I L-O-V-E the recycled card sooooo much better!
Have you ever recycled or repurposed a card?
Plus, there are some fabulous accessories to go along with the stamp set:
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
