Hello my awesomely talented, creatively crafty and brilliantly beautiful readers! It's Friday and I'm SOOOooo excited for the weekend! Tonight I'm hosting my 2nd Annual Craft Swap and then my friend Nikki and I leave Saturday morning for the Creative Art Retreat on the Cape with Jenn Shurkus! It's like the ultimate crafting weekend! Be sure to follow along on my Instragram account because I'll be posting live with lots of fun Instastories all weekend long! As Barney would say, "it's going to be, legendary!"
Now on to today's card. . . I love finding a stamp set with great sentiments! In fact, I've been known to purchase a stamp set (or two or ten) simply because of one sentiment alone. This Thanksgiving Blessings set from Taylored Expressions has some wonderful expressions that are perfect for the upcoming holidays.
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Soft Suede cardstock. Using the Scalloped Stitched Rectangle nesting dies from Gina Marie Designs I die cut the first layer from Very Vanilla cardstock. The Lawn Fawn Fall plaid DSP was the third background layering measuring 3 3/4" by 5". Using the Scalloped Stitched Circles from Gina Marie Designs Die, I cut a circle from Soft Suede cardstock and then a nesting circle from the Stitched Circles dies (also from Gina Marie Designs) in Very Vanilla cardstock.
The sentiment was stamped on Very Vanilla cardstock using Pumpkin Pie ink. I pieced the pumpkin pie together using the Taylored Expressions Little Bits Pumpkin Pie die and even added some sparkle in the whip cream by die cutting it from Dazzling Diamonds cardstock! I raised both the sentiment and the pie for added depth using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend! I know I will!
