If you were to ask me to describe the "colors of fall," I would tell you they are everything that is in this card I have made for you today. Rich deep red hues with subtle gold undertones. Vibrant yellows and burnt oranges with blends of warm earthy browns.
Oh, yes this is my favorite season!
The base of this A2 sized card is made from Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The first matted layer is 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" Whisper White cardstock. I embossed this sheet of Whisper White cardstock with the Woodland Textures Embossing Folder before adhering it to the card base. I heat embossed the Cherry Cobbler leaf with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. I die cut the yellow leaf from the Vintage Leaves die using a piece of scrap paper. I also cut a circle of dahlia scrapbooking paper out with this Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circles die and trimmed the right side of before adhering it to the card.
On a sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock, I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink and die cut the circle using this Gina Marie Designs Stitched Circles die. I adhered this sentiment to the center of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Before adhering the card together completely, I wrapped some Linen Thread around the card and tied a small bow.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
