Greetings from Boothbay Harbor, Maine, on this T(ea) for Tuesday post! We spent a long Memorial Day weekend camping with my parents AND my grandparents. Yes, that's right, my grandfather, at 85 years old is still camping. Well, in a Class A 38-foot motorhome that is! When I say "camping," I do mean A/C, Wi-Fi, running water, DVD player and a few other modern amenities! Perhaps I grew up a bit spoiled with this luxury, but I'm just not a tent kind of girl.
Here are a few photos of beautiful downtown Boothbay Harbor:
We stopped by the Coastal Maine Popcorn Company where we were able to sample some pretty wild popcorn flavors! (See the menu below).
I'm a "sweets" fan - so I tried the Key Lime (really, it was yummy) and the Marshmallow popcorn (think Rice Krispie treats). My husband is a "savories" fan so he tried Buffalo Wing, which he claimed to be a bit too spicy, even for his taste, or else he would have given Wasabi Soy a try!
Here's the whole family at the Boothbay Harbor Botanical Gardens. Anyone know what we call a "selfie" when it's the whole family taken with a photo timer shot???
From the left: my husband, myself, my step-grandmother, my maternal grandfather, my mother and my step-father. What a lovely bunch we are, aren't we? (HINT: You're supposed to agree with me here!)
And lastly, for my T(ea) for Tuesday post, how about this neat little Teacup and Tea kettle clock that I saw in one of the stores in Boothbay Harbor.. So neat, isn't it?
Please visit Elizabeth and Bleubeard for more T(ea) stories and perhaps you can join us sometime!
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate all your thoughtful comments!
