Good morning, it's a double post again today! This will be my second time joining Bleubeard and Elizabeth at T for Tuesday. I have an exciting new "T"ea from Trader Joe's to share with you. How does Salted Caramel Chai Tea sound? Ah-mazing, right? I assure you, it IS! I have always maintained that my morning chai tea is my "Christmas in a cup." It's my zen moment. It's my first "ahhhh" of the day (complete with singing angels, glory Hallelujah's and all that jazz)!
But, salted caramel is all the rage right now. You see the flavor everywhere. Dunkin Donuts is advertising a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate (which is very tasty might I add)! Salted Caramel brownie recipes are popular on Pinterest. . . Salted Caramel Cheesecake on the menu at the frou frou restaurants. . . I tell ya, it's everywhere! And now, thanks to a very dear friend who has introduced me to a few new flavors of chai tea from Trader Joe's, it's in my own kitchen!
Actually, funny story, this photo was taken in my own bathroom. TMI? Sorry, the lighting is better there.
Did you see that on the container it reads "Just Add Water?" Let me tell you a little secret that will entirely change your chai drinking experience. . . Add a healthy dose of milk too! It will make your tea all the creamier. What do I mean by "healthy" dose? Well, if it were a shot of tequila, I'd say bartender, pour me three fingers!
Random factoid: I believe it was country singer Joe Nichols who crooned "Tequila makes her clothes fall off."
On a side note, I loathe tequila ever since . . . this one time at band camp. . . well, nevermind. . .
And, here is a sneak peak of my chai cabinet (yes, a little pun on "china" cabinet). One might think I was mildly addicted. . .
Thanks for listening to my caffeine induced schpiel and for stopping by to visit today! Hop on over to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to see what else you might find at T for Tuesdays.
