Hello readers! So two of my BSF's (Best Stamping Friends) Donna and Laurie and I have
recently been having discussions about the "how-to's" of the blogging world.
For instance, how much do you, the reader, want to know?
For example, the three of us have all been following fellow blogger Justin Krieger for a few years now and he shares e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g . Readers know not just Justin and his cards, but his entire family (with photos), what he had for dinner, who his BFF's are, what he's wearing, what music he likes, which Target or Michael's he shops at (p.s. - he goes A LOT!) But, we love him!
Me? I'm a short-and-sweet kinda girl. A few photos, a little sarcastic wit and you're moving on. . .
It was only just recently that I first shared a personal side of myself when I talked about the recent passing of my grandmother. There was the Garth Brooks concert last weekend that inspired this card (which won The Paper Players Headliner)! I also did one fun Friday post with more behind-the-scenes info about what I was reading, eating and watching. Just yesterday, there was this heartwrenching police funeral that I was blessed to witness. I try to find my own comfortable balance of keeping my personal life personal, yet opening up my craft room to the world.
With all that being said, I'd like to know what YOU want to read or see more of!
No, I will not show you photos of the loads of laundry I have piled up or the garlic bread I burned for dinner the other night. I will not post ten thousand (or even one) "selfies." I promise not to be the "crazy cat lady" and show Sadie and Guinness all too much.
Just how many photos are we talking before I qualify as 'crazy?" Just kidding!
Going forward, I'll start to mix things up a bit. Lord knows there are enough classic blonde moments, crime scene stories, travel adventures and everyday mishaps that make my life all too interesting. And, if it's bloopers you want - I've got card catastrophes up the wazoo!
But, for today, as this post is already long on words and short on photos,
I'll just share my Design Team card for the Paper Craft Crew:
In short, if you didn't fully read that lengthy diatribe above, I'm going to try sharing more
personal things in the future here on Super Stamp Girl.
And, I'd really like to know YOUR thoughts!
