Happy Monday to all my readers! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
Today's challenge card is for the Papercraft Crew Card Sketch #69 (PCCS69). Here is the design sketch:
Can I just begin by saying this card did NOT want to come together for me at all! Do you ever have THOSE days? When nothing wants to work out for you? Well, yesterday was my day. First, I pulled out the Swallowtail butterfly and I was going to have the large butterfly be the focus with three small butterflies on the side. Neat, huh? And my color scheme was strawberry slush. . . Oooh, so pretty, right? Well, my intentions were good, but, as you can see, none of that come to fruition. Next up was the Wetlands stamp set, where I would use the goose as the focal piece, throw in some sweater weather DSP and be done with it. As you can see below, there's no goose there. . .
Butterflies, to geese, to Santa. Naturally, right? Well, in the middle of all those stamps sets NOT working for me, there was the Big Shot platform that finally snapped (it was really just a matter of time, but did it have to be TODAY of all days?), then there was the stamp set that fell off my pegboard, crash landed onto my white embossing powder (open, might I add) catapulting that into the air, sending my sleeping cat into a full on sprint and ultimately making a mess of my table. Oh yeah, AND the acrobatic stamp set was 52 letters, of which I still can't find my lower case "g!" See what I mean, by one of THOSE days?
But, anyway, here is my challenge card entry! Finally. Yesterday I made one card and it was just one card too many! I should have quit when I was ahead!
