Hello and Happy Monday! I hope you all had a very lovely weekend. I'm still working on my post about my weekend in Boston, so be sure to check back later to hear all about the big city.
Today's card is for the Papercraft Crew sketch challenge:
For my card, I used a base of Early Espresso, matted that with Soft Suede and then layered it again in Very Vanilla. I ran the piece of Very Vanilla through my Big Shot with a fun coffee bean embossing folder. (Sorry, not sure which company that was from!) I then stamped multiple coffee cups from the A Perfect Blend stamp set in both Soft Suede and Cherry Cobbler and started mixing and matching up those components to have fun and colorful cups. I tied the center of the cups with Natural Linen Thread. I ran a scrap of Cherry Cobbler through the Big Shot with an Apothecary Accent die and stamped "Thanks a Latte" with a retired set of the same name in Cherry Cobbler.
But, the BEST part (I think) about this card - REAL coffee beans were the accent trio! Mmmmm, not only is a fun focal point, the card smells so good too!
Thanks (a latte) for stopping by! I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R Monday!
