Hello and Happy Wednesday to you! Yes, despite my title caption of "It's all about the Friday's," it IS only Wednesday. Confusing much? We are halfway through the week! Though if you really think about it, we are no closer to the end of the week than we are the beginning. Nevermind, that's kind of depressing!
So, let's try that again. . . It's Wednesday! Yay! And, it's time for a challenge combining the sketch at Fab Friday with the theme of "Father's Day" from the Friday Mashup (hence, "it's all about the Friday's).
I'm a little excited about my card for a few reasons:
1. I actually borrowed this "Walk in the Wild" stamp set from my downline, Melissa, because I haven't bought it for myself yet. But, the more I use hers, the more I want my own!
2. Look closely - do you see the "washi tape?" No? That's because it's not actually Washi tape, but drywall tape!! I still haven't bought into the entire washi tape craze, so I had to find an alternative solution and I think the drywall tape was a great answer to this masculine themed wildlife card!
3. Lastly, look at my creative use of the three triangles from the sketch. Since, triangles are part of my entire "I hate everything geometric phase" - I could not bring myself to cut simple triangles, but instead found another great solution! It's all about learning to make the card something of your own!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a S-U-P-E-R day! I always look forward to reading your thoughtful comments!
