Hello friends! So, now that we are three days into the New Year, I feel like it's okay to say that I'm soooo happy the holidays are over with! My house is officially 100% de-Christmassed and my evenings no longer involve stressful trips to the mall or nights spent shopping (for other's anyway) on Amazon.! Which leaves more time for. . . you guessed it - S-T-A-M-P-I-N-G! What a great way to start the new year!
Today I'm sharing a card with you that I created for the Stamp Ink Paper Design Team. This card features a die called "Dragonfly Dreams" that will be available starting January 4th in the NEW Spring Occasions mini catalog.
The base of this card is Sweet Sugarplum cardstock. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock measuring 5" x 3 3/4" and a piece of watercolor paper at 4 3/4" x 3 1/2." Before adhering the watercolor paper, I stamped the sentiment in Sweet Sugarplum ink on the bottom right of the watercolor paper. Using an Aqua Painter I randomly watercolored Sweet Sugarplum ink all over the center of the watercolor paper. I also stamped "grunge" spots over the watercolor in Crumb Cake ink. I matted the watercolor paper onto the Crumb Cake cardstock at a tilted angle using Snail Permanent Adhesive I then randomly placed Pearl Basic Jewels for added dimension. Lastly, I die cut the dragonflies out of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and adhered them over a circle of scrap vellum using a Fine Tip Glue pen.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
