Hello my friends and happy Friday to you! I hope you have great things planned for the weekend ahead! I'm going to be taking a Cake Paint & Sip class on Saturday at Life's Memories & More in Palmer. It's like one of those popular painting parties, where you all sit in a room drinking wine and painting, except we are painting Monet's Water Lilies on an actual cake. It's edible icing. So fun, right!? This is WAY better than painting a picture! You get to eat your artwork!! Plus, it's BYOB, and I'm all about watermelon margaritas right now!
Today I'm sharing a simple, but beautiful thank you card made with the Detailed Floral Thinlet Dies and some retired Designer Series Paper (DSP) called "Affectionately Yours" that has gold foil in it. While these dies are not new in this year's catalog, it is the first time I have ever used them! There is a bit of a learning curve to these detailed dies - so you will find them much easier to work with if you use the Precision Base Plate - or the dryer sheet and wax paper technique.
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderfully creative weekend!
