Last weekend my friend Nancy and I flew to LA to visit our friend Donna. It was a win-win for everyone because Donna had her first official east coast visitors and Nancy and I were able to escape New England in the midst of winter! I could show you the pictures of the beaches, the amazing food we ate (bananas foster crepes!), the spur of the moment trip to Disneyland or the cool TV show "Mom" we saw filmed live (from VIP seating might I add), but nope, one of the best parts of our mini-vacation was crafting! Did we fly over 3,000 miles just to stamp? You betcha!
While Donna has a small living space in her beach-y apartment, she has made a wonderful crafting space out of her dining room:
We also spent a morning with Donna's new California stamping friend, Beth, who taught us a new card technique called "inlay:"
Happy Friday, friends!
I wish you a wonderful weekend, and, if you're somewhere in the midst of
2 feet of snow (like my family in Maryland) well,
and I say this with love, I'm glad it's you and not me!
