Yesterday was absolutely mind numbing cold outside in Massachusetts! I'm talking freeze your (insert any bleep here) off cold! And I say this without ever actually having stepped outside myself. I knew it from the howling winds and the scowling (perhaps frozen that way) faces of those dedicated stamp-a-stackers who braved the cold to come to my house for a marathon afternoon of nacho cheese eating and Christmas card making. It may have been sub-arctic weather outside, but inside, we were all happy as can be:
Yum! All the food that helped to keep the creative juices flowing. . . As I mentioned, the nacho cheese dip is always a big fan favorite (as agreed upon by Mr. Super Stamp Girl) who was happy and warm upstairs watching football during the stamping madness. Then again, he was outnumbered 14 to 1!
The ladies all made 15 cards yesterday afternoon. 3 each of the 5 designs shown below.
A big CONGRATULATIONS to Moira who won the Grand Prize raffle basket, valued at almost $60. It was a beautiful Thirty-One bag stuffed with pop dots, ribbon, Smooch, adhesive, the World Map stamp, 12x12 paper, Lacy Brocade TIEF and more!
Thank you to everyone who braved the cold. I hope you all felt that the beautiful cards you made and the company you were surrounded with for the afternoon was worth every moment of it.
