I'm excited to share with you my first challenge card for 2014! Thanks to two snow days in a row I've had the luxury of spending WAY more time than I ever usually get to spend in my craft room! What a wonderful way to start off a new year!
Today's challenge at Create with Connie and Mary is a color challenge. For those of you who follow me regularly, you are probably thinking, "Oh Crystal, those colors are SO bright for you. And, while you have a sparkling personality (it's true, I do) those colors are not part of your comfort zone! But, that's what these challenges are all about - taking one out of their comfort zone.
So, I thought to myself, what stamp set do I own that screams hot pink hotness and bright blue brightness? This Hawaiian themed "Do the Hula" set is perfect! Floral shirts look great in Bermuda Bay and Strawberry Slush hanging on a clothesline held up by surfboards ready for a luau. Hang ten, Dude!
Basic Black cardstock
Whisper White cardstock
Basic Black ink and marker
Bermuda Bay ink and marker
Strawberry Slush Ink
2 silver mini brads
Do the Hula stamp set
2 mini clothespins

Thanks for stopping by and have a S-U-P-E-R day!
