One of the first stamp sets to catch my eye in the 2017 Spring Occasions catalog was this set called Carousel Birthday. The ferris wheel was, and still remains, my all-time
favorite carnival ride. But, as much as I love the idea of this stamp set, I've struggled with using it. See the first two cards I made HERE. Meh. I think choosing to make those cards in pastel colors was my first mistake. . .
I do think that a circus calls for bright flashy colors, red circus tents and crazy clowns. Eek! Bright, flashy AND crazy. Three anxiety inducing adjectives that scare me. . .
I wish I could say that I love this card, but I'm still on the fence. It has everything to do with using Real Red, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight all in 5 1/2" x 4 1/4." Remember the genie from Aladdin? Phenomenal cosmic powers - itty bitty living space!
Thank you for visiting and have a wonderfully creative day!
