If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you know that last week I was on vacation with seven other ladies for our 2nd annual craft retreat on Cape Cod. Yes, crafting for one whole week! It's fantastic! Read about last year's retreat HERE.
We rent the entire Beach House Inn B & B (7 bedrooms/7 bathrooms) for 7 days. I won't tell you the unbelievable price we pay for it, because you're sure to hate me! : ) It is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in West Dennis, MA.
Here are some of the simple and quaint cottage decor bed/bathrooms. There is cable and wi-fi and everything you could possibly need.

The beautiful oceanfront view from my own crafting desk! SOoooo lucky! And, you can totally hear the waves crashing all day (and night) long. . . Heaven.
We wake in the mornings to beautiful sunrise:
And are blessed to be facing west to see the breathtaking sunsets:
We plan ahead and organize meals/snacks to bring with us to the retreat. We do a lot of casserole and crock-pot cooking ,and eat all of our meals on paper plates, so no one really has to cook or clean! Yay!
But, we have three places that are a MUST for breakfast and dinner while we are in the Dennis/Hyannis area:
And, we craft . . . Seven days of uninterrupted crafting! Some knit, some stamp, some hook rugs, some scrapbook, some paint. We share techniques and ideas. We teach each other about our various crafts. Oh, and we Amazon shop when someone else has something we don't.
P.S. - There's a LOT of Amazon shopping. . .
This year, we decided to try something new - a Yankee "craft" swap. Everyone had to purchase a crafting item (under $10) and, on the last night of our retreat, we had a good ol' Yankee swap. It was pretty funny at times (like when that box of washi tape was "stolen" twice) and is a definite event we'll bring back each year!
This craft retreat has quickly become one of my favorite annual vacation, but, it's always sad when we have to go. . .
Mr. Super Stamp Girl,, I think we need a bigger SUV!
Do they make a Ford Explorer "Limited Crafter's Edition!?" ; )
Thanks for another memorable vacation ladies! I can't wait until next year!
