Last week in lieu of my traditional monthly stamping techniques class, I found there was enough interest to offer a 2-part series in beginner calligraphy. This is something I have been wanting to learn for a long while. Fortunately, I didn't have to look too far for a teacher, for one of my regular stampers had 20 years of experience. A big THANK YOU to Marisa Blais for her knowledge of the art and for her very patient teaching skills (35 years in school systems have served her well!) I know that I very much look forward to practicing calligraphy myself and one day addressing beautiful envelopes to go with our handmade cards.
