Hello and happy April friends! I promise NO April Fool's jokes today!
Who are the ‘Blogging Friends’? Almost two years ago, I rounded up a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators located all across the U.S. and Canada who had never met before. Well, actually, we still haven’t met yet (in person). . . But, through our common bond of Stampin’ Up! and a shared love of papercrafting we have created a fun blog hop. Please join us on the 1st of every month to see what wonderful things we have created!
In case you’ve never ‘done’ a blog hop before, it’s really easy! At the bottom of this post, you’ll see a "next" image and when you click on it, you’ll be taken directly to the next participant in the hop. Keep clicking on that image at the bottom of each blog post, and you’ll hop through all of the participating blogs, back to where you started – and you’ll see all of the amazing projects created for your inspiration!
You won't want to miss a stop, I promise!
This month our theme is the color yellow. Yellow inspires me to "think spring," but I'm saying this as it's snowing outside my house in Massachusetts right now! And that is NO April Fool's! I found this image on Google and laughed because it's so true:
There was a time when I first began crafting that I would have said I hated the color
yellow, but it's a color over time, that has grown on me.
No, not you, Summer Starfruit. . . Ugh. I'm talking yellow, yellow.
For today's trio of cards, I used one of my favorite color combinations: So Saffron, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. I designed these cards around a similar theme of flowers and dragonflies, but I've also used the same basic layout and similar
components on all three cards.
Can you spot many of the common elements?
