ALOHA! It means "hello" and "goodbye" in Hawaiian. And, who doesn't love Hawaii?! Wouldn't life be much better looking at my website with a margarita in your hand and your toes in the sand from tropical Waikiki? Aloha just sounds sounds so cheery and positive and okay. . . island-y. We need a land states word that does the same. Suggestions? Anyone?
Today's card celebrates the aloha in everyday life and this card would be fun to send to anyone for pretty much any reason. Aloha, hello, how are you doing? Aloha, goodbye and good riddance. Just kidding! Goodbye and maybe happy retirement.
This card was inspired by a sketch challenge that I never made the deadline for. Darn laundry, or cooking, or cleaning, or that full-time job must have gotten in the way again! Seems to happen a lot. Too much really.
Actually, there's a funny story about this retired "Do the Hula" stamp set. . . If you look at the "highest priced" Stampin' Up! stamp sets on e*Bay, it sells for over $600! Six. Hundred. Dollars. That's just crazy! Preposterous! Outlandish! Highway $#%@*& # robbery if you ask me!
Happy (cheaper) stampin!
P.S. - If anyone is interested, I'll give you a REALLY great deal of $599 for this stamp set I have! I'll even throw in some FREE shipping too!
