Hello friends and happy Friday to you! And, happy day before the day before Christmas too! Are you done with your shopping yet? If not, peace be with you, because I was at the grocery store last night and it was MADNESS! Though oddly enough, everyone I bumped into (quite literally) was in a surprisingly good mood. It must have been the egg nog they were serving in Aisle 2!
Today's card was inspired by the photo at SS Inkspiration. This card also features two new-to-me stamp sets. Since I've been doing a little/a lot of buying lately (see here) it's about high time I use this great new stuff! I hope to be sharing lots more of new products with you over the coming weeks in the New Year. New Year, new stuff I say!
The base of today's card is Night of Navy cardstock and instead of using Whisper White cardstock, I used Shimmery White cardstock instead to give the snow a subtle sheen. I heat embossed those beautiful evergreen trees (from a retired Stampin' UP! set appropriately called "Evergreen") with white embossing powder and had to fussy cut them because this stamp set was pre-die era!
