Hello friends! I hope you have had a great weekend! Boy, we sure did! I had a house full of family visiting from Maine, and, I hosted a fun-filled stamping weekend here at Super Stamp Girl's house. I have a ton of photos to share with you today.
The weekend kicked off with a Tastefully Simple party hosted by Donna McAdam, featuring simple to make, but yummy tasting food and a simultaneous craft swap. Each guest was asked to bring something or somethings from their current crafting stash that they might not necessarily like or use. We drew numbers (and letters and numbers AGAIN) in a Yankee swap style event where guests got to choose something from the swap table to take home with them. All guests actually went home with at least 3 new (and FREE) items!
There were some card class instructions on the "dryer sheet" glitter technique and the napkin cards technique led by my Aunt Sandra:
My cousin Christina taught the ladies how to make origami treat pouches:
Charlotte, Mini Super Stamp Girl, modeled super-fun hats knitted by Aunt Sandra:
Debbie taught us the "fork bow" tying technique:
It's now Sunday afternoon and as I'm composing this post, there are still 2 others remaining here crafting away with me. We're not quite ready to bid goodbye to the weekend and welcome in Monday yet!
I hope everyone had a great time at the swap event and are happily using their new craft items! Thank you so much for attending, for meeting my family, and sharing in a fun-filled crafting weekend!
